I had about a twenty-four-hour stalled labor experience, up and down in the passage-way & stairs in the hospital, in and out of the bath, experiencing laughs, cries, pain and uncertainties. Having Marné with us brought such a comfort and safe space to soundboard having someone who understands birth out of her own experience, was something I would not trade. Moments where we would have not known how to bring relief from pain, she had the experience and training to bring comfort to us. Her soft and caring yet assured nature was exactly what we needed to endure and enjoy the time. Having a doula is one thing - but having this doula was incredibly precious for us!"
